Bodycam footage released in fatal Hamilton Township police-involved shooting
The New Jersey Attorney General's Office released body camera footage of an officer-involved shooting that left a man dead in Mercer County.It happened around 10 p.m. on March 8 on the 1800 block of Orchard Avenue.Officers were called to the home for a reported domestic dispute.After speaking with a relative outside, bodycam video shows officers walking in as they're almost immediately met with gunfire.During the encounter, Hamilton Township Police Officers Derek Fiabane and Paul Piromalli exchanged gunfire with 44-year-old Vincent Correa inside the home.Officer Fiabane and Correa were both shot.Correa was pronounced dead at the scene. A rifle and a handgun were recovered in his possession.Officer Fiabane was transported to a hospital with non-fatal injuries and has since been released.The investigation into the shooting remains under investigation.

Trenton police officer, K-9 injured in crash, authorities say
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A police officer and K-9 were injured in a crash in Trenton on Thursday. The crash happened at Second and Bridge Streets, Mayor W. Reed Gusciora said in a news release.Gusciora said an unlicensed driver sped through a stop sign and T-boned the officer's vehicle. The officer was en route to assist another officer responding to a reports of a man with a gun.Both vehicles were sent into a residential building after the crash.The officer had a head injury but was hospitalized in stable condition. The K-9 had facial lacerations but was treated and released from a veterinary hospital, Gusciora said. The driver of the other vehicle was also listed in stable condition.The building on the corner that was hit by the police car had visible damage. Another damaged SUV was also visible at the scene.The Red Cross is assisting a resident displaced at the building.Police later found a group juveniles in possession of airsoft guns, which were confiscated, Gusciora said.This article has been updated to reflect the location where the crash occurred.

Township Residents Asked to Check Video Footage After Early Morning Car Thefts, Burglaries
BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Bordentown Township Police Department (BTPD) is asking for the public's help with its investigation into vehicle thefts and burglaries that occurred early Thursday morning in the Township. According to the BTPD, multiple suspects burglarized vehicles in three Bordentown Township neighborhoods — Bordenshire, Georgetown Estates and Williamsburg Village — between 1:30AM and 5AM.
