The National Weather Service has confirmed that a tornado touched down Wednesday in Fulton County. The EF0 touched down in Broadalbin at 4:41 p.m. in the backyard of Cerrero’s Cuts on Route 29. It traveled across the road and impacted a residence on the north side of the highway. It knocked down a few tree limbs and uprooted two limbs, according to NWS.

Cambridge Central School District will prohibit electronic devices from campus during regular school days starting the 2024-25 school year, according to their website. The district asks students to turn off or store out-of-sight personal electronic devices from their arrival at school until the end of a regular school day, while the district "is not responsible for stolen, lost, or damaged personal electronic devices," according to the website.
Potentially Deadly Veggies Sold In New York Stores
A voluntary recall has been expanded due to the potential health threat it poses in New York State. Wiers Farm Inc. of Willard, Ohio, is expanding its July 12, 2024, recall. The recall was initiated by findings reported by the Michigan Department of Agriculture. Another Tornado Touched Down In New York State
The month of July has been a record month for tornados in New York State and another one was confirmed to have touched down earlier this week. The National Weather Service in Buffalo confirmed that an EF-0 tornado touched down near Orwell, New York. This was the 20th tornado to be confirmed in New York State this month.
