Farm Aid - Helping Farmers Year Round Since 1985
Since 1985, Farm Aid founders Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp (later joined by Dave Mathews and Margo Price) have stepped up to help the American Farmer. The charity has grown through the years to do more than just host an annual benefit concert. According to FarmAid.org: "Farm Aid works year-round to build a system of agriculture that values family farmers, good food, soil and water, and strong communities. Our annual music and food festival celebrates farmers, eaters and music coming together for change."
A Free Day at the Track for Local Veterans

New York residents who purchased fresh produce at Walmart and Aldi stores should be aware of a recent major recall due to potential listeria contamination. The FDA recently announced that Wiers Farm Inc. has expanded its voluntary recall of certain produce items sold at select stores in Ohio, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.
