Feds charge man with meth, gun crimes; arrested near Douglas on way to Casper
CASPER, Wyo. — State and federal agencies have requested the arrest of a man for his alleged involvement in a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy in central Wyoming. Larry Arguijo is charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm, punishable by up to 15 years’ imprisonment; and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, punishable by up to 20 years’ imprisonment, according to a criminal complaint written by a special agent with the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation and filed in Wyoming U.S. District Court on Tuesday.

Hydrothermal Explosion Causes Damage in Yellowstone National Park
A hydrothermal explosion inside Yellowstone National Park sent rocks and debris flying Tuesday morning, damaging a pedestrian boardwalk and forcing the closure of the area. The explosion occurred at the Biscuit Basin thermal area around 10 a.m. local time, appearing to originate near the Black Diamond Pool, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. Biscuit Basin, as well as its boardwalks and parking lots, are closed for visitor safety as park geologists investigate what occurred, the USGS reported. The popular tourist spot is located roughly two miles northwest of Old Faithful.
