Silver Alert issued for an 81-year-old Broward woman who has been missing since Sunday

A Silver Alert has been issued for Carol Tormey, an 81-year-old woman who went missing on Sunday evening. Carol was last seen around 8 p.m. in Fort Lauderdale. She is possibly driving a 4-door black 2018 Chevy Colorado with the tag number GYN M49, police say.

Carol was reported missing by her family when she did not return home. Anyone with information on Carol’s whereabouts is urged to contact Miramar Police at (954) 602-4000.

Carol’s family said they are deeply concerned for her safety. Her son, John Tormey, and daughter-in-law, Niria Tormey, are pleading with the public for assistance.
