Licking man arrested in St. Robert with runaway & four pounds of methamphetamine scheduled for trial
A Texas County man arrested in Pulaski County with a runaway and four pounds of methamphetamine is scheduled for a new trial date. John Weaver, of Licking, is charged with first-degree drug trafficking, two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, and two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm.
Apartment damaged by fire in Richland
An apartment in Richland is damaged by fire. The Tri County Fire Protection District says crews were dispatched to a commercial structure fire in the 400 block of West McClurg Avenue around 10:30 Saturday morning. Crews arrived at the Richland Housing Authority Apartments to find light smoke showing from the eaves of a single story apartment complex. Crews entered one unit and found heavy smoke inside and a fire in the wall. The fire was quickly extinguished before it spread to the attic or adjoining apartments.
