    Trio accused of stealing nearly $400 worth of groceries from Fort Mill Food Lion

    YORK COUNTY, S.C. ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — The York County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in identifying three people who they said stole nearly $400 worth of groceries from a local Food Lion.

    The reported theft happened at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday, July 11, at the Food Lion store located along Regent Parkway in Fort Mill.

    Deputies said one of the two women filled the cart while the other woman and man walked beside her. All three left the grocery store without paying.

    When an employee intervened and grabbed the cart, the three ran away, deputies said. The group fled the scene in a green Toyota Sienna Minivan.
