Ambler police remind public on curfew for minors
The Borough of Ambler Police Department recently issued a reminder that the borough has a curfew ordinance impacting those under 18 years of age. From the notice:. We would like to Remind parents and guardians that the Borough of Ambler has a curfew ordinance that the Police Department enforces. A minor, who is a person under the age of eighteen, may not remain in a public place and or vehicle without being accompanied by a parent or guardian or a person having legal custody of that minor during certain evening and early morning hours. The restricted hours are Sunday through Thursday from 11p.m. until 5 a.m. the following day. On Friday night and Saturday night the curfew is 12 a.m. until 5 a.m. the following day. There are exceptions to the Curfew Ordinance for juveniles who are traveling to and from work during the restricted hours. If you have any further questions please see the Ambler Borough’s Website.
