Winning $4M Mega Millions ticket sold in Indiana

Someone bought a winning $4 million Mega Millions ticket in Indiana.

The winning entry matched five numbers but missed the Mega Ball. The 4X Megaplier means the ticket is worth $4 million.

Megaplier is an optional add-on available in some states that multiples a non-jackpot prize by a factor of 2, 3, 4 or 5 times.

The winning numbers for the July 23 drawing were 3-9-14-26-51 with the Mega Ball of 21.

Someone bought the winning ticket at Lassus Bros. Oil #32 located at 12010 U.S. Highway 24 West in Fort Wayne.

Tickets sold in Connecticut and Virginia matched five numbers to win $1 million. Tickets in New Jersey and Oregon also added the Megaplier and are worth $4 million like the Fort Wayne ticket.

The next Mega Millions drawing is Friday, July 26, with an estimated jackpot of $306 million.
