    TinCaps can’t hold on after early lead against Dayton

    FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Fort Wayne scored three runs in the top of the first inning, but the TinCaps couldn’t finish off a victory as Mike Daly’s team fell to the Dayton Dragons for the second night in a row.

    TinCaps starter Enmanuel Pinales gave up five earned runs in five inning as Fort Wayne fell by a score of 5-4. Tagged with the loss, Pinales is now 3-7 on the season with a 3.53 ERA.

    Devin Ortiz was 1-for-2 with 2 RBI and 2 walks to lead the Fort Wayne offense.

    These two are set to play game three of their series on Thursday at 7:05 p.m.
