2 men shot, 1 fatally, after pulling guns on a man in east Fort Worth, police say

Two men were shot, one fatally, Monday night in east Fort Worth after pulling their guns on someone, police said.

Officers responded to a shooting call in the 3700 block of Holton Circle shortly after 10:30 p.m. They found a man with gunshot wounds to the upper body. He was already dead when police arrived, officials said.

Investigators learned that he and another person had pulled handguns on the suspected shooter, police said. The suspect took out his own gun and fired several rounds, hitting both men.

Police found someone matching the description of the second person who was shot receiving treatment at a local hospital.

No arrests have been made, officials said.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner will identify the man who died. The Homicide Unit is investigating the shooting.
