A teenager found soaked in dried blood inside his crashed pickup track is refusing to tell police what happened. Aaron Richard has been consistently "uncooperative" with law enforcement since the bizarre incident .

The 18-year-old was discovered inside his white, single-cab 1997 Chevrolet pickup by officers shortly before 3am on Monday after the alarm was raised of a " major accident " off Interstate 20 in Fort Worth.

Upon arrival, deputies noticed "a large amount of dried blood on the pickup and the suspect." There was noticeable damage to the driver’s side door and tailgate and a traffic cone was found in the bed of the pickup.

The back window of the pickup also has some writing on it. Richard refused to assist with inquiries and was generally unhelpful when questioned about the origin of the blood .

Authorities suspect the blood found on Richard and the truck don't belong to him and wasn't due to any collision . Richard was arrested at the scene for driving under the influence and was taken to Lon Evans Corrections Centre.

It is not yet known whether anyone else is in danger or has been harmed in the crash. Richard was was released on a $500 bond Monday evening, according to the arrest records.

He is currently serving a six-month probationary sentence for a disorderly conduct charge five miles from where the crash took place, according to New York Post.
