FORT WORTH — Food and beverage workers in Fort Worth will get access to emergency crisis funding and mental health services, thanks to the Fort Worth Food and Wine Foundation’s new partnership with a nationally recognized culinary nonprofit organization.

A $25,000 annual gift will support workers in the culinary industry under a new partnership between the food and wine foundation and the Southern Smoke Foundation, a nonprofit organization launched in 2015 to help a restaurant worker with substantial medical expenses.
