Car, van shows come to Lincoln County
Fans of classic cars and vans had their choice of shows they could attend in south Lincoln County last weekend.Happy's Inn hosted its annual classic car show pitting Lincoln and Flathead counties against each other.Flathead County came out the winner in 2024.Van lovers headed to the first Northwest Regional meet at Timberlane Campground outside of Libby.Event organizers said the Northwest regional will rotate annually to a different established location each year with the first one hosted in Montana. BUTLER CREEK FIRE (NW of Missoula) The Butler Creek Fire was first report Monday, July 22, 2024, at about 1:30am. The fire is burning west of Butler Creek Rd in grass and heavy timber, 7 miles northwest of downtown Missoula. It is north of I-90, and east of Hwy 93. So far, it has burned 307 acres, and is 15% contained. Its cause is being investigated.
