    Fountain Hills: Sheriff's call log

    Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies in District 7 based in Fountain Hills responded to the following incidents between Thursday, June 27, and Tuesday, July 2.

    Thursday, June 27

    *A resident of the 16000 block of El Lago Blvd. reported that an unknown subject used the victim’s personal information to create an unauthorized account.

    *Deputies made a traffic stop on Shea Boulevard at 142nd Street for criminal speed. The driver was stopped for traveling 102 miles per hour where the speed limit is 50. The driver was issued a criminal citation.

    *A resident of the 16000 block of Westby Drive reported that a subject possibly committed a fraud resulting in monetary loss for the victim.

    Friday, June 28

    *Deputies responded to the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. where a single vehicle traffic collision was reported after a driver accidentally accelerated into a brick wall in a parking lot. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.

    *Deputies responded to the 11000 block of Saguaro Blvd. for a call for services. Deputies contacted a subject, and a check of records revealed the subject had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. The subject was arrested and booked into jail on the warrant.

    *Deputies responded to Alamosa Avenue and Yerba Buena Way. A single vehicle traffic collision occurred when the driver lost control of the steering wheel of the vehicle and struck a street sign and fire hydrant. No injuries were reported, the vehicle was towed from the scene.

    *Deputies responded to the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. where it was reported that two subjects assaulted the victim and stole their cat at a residence.

    Saturday, June 29

    *Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Gunsight Drive where a domestic violence assault incident was reported.

    *Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported that following a road rage incident an unknown subject threw an item causing damage to the victim’s vehicle.

    *Deputies responded to the 11000 block of Saguaro Blvd. where a single vehicle traffic collision occurred after a driver accidentally accelerated into a brick wall in a parking lot. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.

    *Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Ashbrook Drive where it was reported that a subject who had been previously trespassed from a residence returned to the location and refused to leave. The subject was arrested and transported to a medical facility for a mental health evaluation.

    *Deputies responded to the 17000 block of Shea Blvd. where a patron of a business left items in the business including a bag of illegal drugs. The items were taken and impounded into evidence.

    Sunday, June 30

    *Deputies responded to the 15000 block of Ridgeway Drive where a traffic collision occurred after a vehicle struck a parked vehicle and rolled over. The driver was transported for medical care. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

    *Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown subject shoplifted multiple items from a retail store.

    *Deputies responded to a business in the 16000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown subject used a fraudulent scheme to obtain a return for non-purchased items at a business.

    *A commercial burglary was reported in the 16000 block of Saguaro Blvd. A DPS trooper contacted the subject leaving town. Deputies responded to the location of the DPS trooper and took the subject into custody and they were booked into jail.

    Monday, July 1

    *A resident of the 17000 block of Tejon Drive reported that an unknown subject used the victim’s personal information to make a fraudulent purchase.

    *Deputies contacted a subject in the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. on a call for service. A check of records revealed that the subject had an active felony warrant. The subject was arrested and booked into jail.

    *Deputies responded to the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. where a subject was trespassed from a business.

    *Deputies responded to the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. where it was reported that a subject shoplifted items from a business.

    Tuesday, July 2

    *A resident of the 14000 block of Saguaro Blvd. reported that an unknown subject took multiple items from a residence.

    *Deputies made a traffic stop on Saguaro Boulevard at Ledferd Lane. The driver was cited for criminal speed for traveling 66 miles per hour where the speed limit is 35.

    *A resident of the 16000 block of Trevino Drive reported that an unknown delivery driver damaged property at a residence.

    *Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Gunsight Drive to a report of a drug overdose at a halfway house. The subject was transported to the hospital for treatment. Illicit drugs were found in the possession of the subject. Charges were submitted to the county attorney.
