You never know how a community will respond to the changes we’ve undergone this past year, but we are happy to report that our readers and advertisers continue to see value in community journalism. While we have new owners and a new print format, we’ve continued to deliver all the latest news each day online at fhtimes.com, and each Wednesday in the print edition.

We were thrilled to celebrate our 50th Anniversary Magazine with the entire community. We hope you enjoyed it. If you didn’t get a copy, stop by the office and we’d be happy to provide it. We’re also hard at work on next year’s Community Guide, which will be a helpful resource for residents and visitors alike throughout 2025. We’ve continued to work hard this past year, just as we have these past five decades, and we are humbled to know that Fountain Hills is a town where residents believe the news still matters. Our digital subscriptions revenue grew 57% this year, and we couldn’t have done this without your generous support. Some of the funds helped defray the cost of adding a part-time copy editor to the newsroom, allowing the team to operate more smoothly.

Looking to the near future, we hope you will consider meeting us at the first Fountain Hills Senior Expo on July 31. Those who attend will receive a free pickleball, courtesy of the Independent, while supplies last. Our CEO will be in attendance, if you’d like to meet her, as well as other Fountain Hills team members.
