ECU Health Medical Center first in North Carolina to earn prestigious IAC accreditation
Having high quality patient care is the utmost priority when entering a hospital. ECU Health has achieved another first in this area recently. According to ECU the Health Medical Center Electrophysiology Lab is the first hospital lab in North Carolina to earn accreditation by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) in Cardiac Electrophysiology in Testing and Ablation, Device Implantation and Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion. The IAC accreditation is recognized as a “seal of approval” assuring patients of consistent quality care and a commitment to continuous improvement.
