    Wyandotte Football cruises by Quapaw 25-0

    WYANDOTTE, OK – Not too far away from home, the Quapaw Wildcats traveled to Wyandotte to match up against the Bears, as both teams looked to capture their first win of the season.

    With no score on the board late in the first quarter, Wyandotte had offensive possession.

    Junior quarterback Hunter White would drop back in the pocket to find Mason Brown for the first touchdown of the game to get things going.

    Regardless of missing the extra point attempt, the Bears took the early 6-0 lead.

    Fasting forwarding with six minutes left to go in the second quarter, an almost identical touchdown play in the first quarter repeats itself.

    White connects with Brown once more for a Bears touchdown to take the lead 12-0.

    The Bears now in position to kick of to Quapaw,

    Quapaw senior Austin Lake was able to break three tackles in the process of getting up the field for a huge Wildcat gain.

    However, Quapaw was unable to score on this drive.

    With just over two minutes left in the first half, Wyandotte secured offensive possession once more.

    White would then drop back and complete a pass to junior Tayton Threet. Threet proceed to gain over 50 yards and breeze into the endzone for another Bears touchdown, extending their lead 19-0 to close the half.

    Wyandotte continued to dominate in the second half and finished the game with a 25-0 victory.

    The Bears will travel to Ketchum on Friday, September 13th, at 7:00pm, while Quapaw will hit the road on September 20th to visit Commerce at 7:00pm as well.
