Little Rock police arrest suspect in Labette Manor deadly shooting

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock Police Department officials said they have made an arrest tied to a shooting that took place in late July.

LRPD officials said they arrested 26-year-old Dalan Patterson on Tuesday in connection with the death of 23-year-old Elijah Tolbert.

According to authorities, officers responded to a shooting call in the 2100 block of Labette Manor Drive at 3:37 p.m. on July 25.

When they arrived, police said they found a man, later identified as Tolbert, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. LRPD officials said he was taken to a local hospital for treatment before later dying from his injuries.

Patterson is facing a charge of capital murder. Records state he is next scheduled to be in court in October.
