    Pine Bluff police investigating deadly overnight shooting at apartment complex

    PINE BLUFF, Ark. – Police in Pine Bluff are investigating after a man was shot and killed overnight at an apartment complex.

    According to the Pine Bluff Police Department, officers responded to the shooting at Camelot Apartments on Warren Road around 1 a.m.

    After arriving on the scene, officers said they found one of the apartment doors damaged and open, where they located 25-year-old D’Arrion Johnson inside.

    Police said Johnson had been shot and was later pronounced dead at the scene.

    Witnesses reported that someone broke into the apartment and shot Johnson, police said. Detectives said that two people wearing masks were seen in the area of the apartment around the time of the shooting.

    Investigators said the motive of the shooting is unknown and there is no information on a possible suspect.
