PARIS, Texas (KXII) - A man was arrested in Paris for allegedly resisting arrest and possessing drugs. According to the Paris Police Department, Stedmon Fentress, 31, was pulled over on the 1200 block of North Main Street for having no headlights on, when an officer smelt marijuana in the car.

Paris Housing Authority Receives Grant Funding
The Housing Authority of the City of Paris will receive grant funding under the Fiscal Year 2024 Capital Fund Emergency Safety and Security Program. The amount awarded is $249,969.00, and these funds will become available when the FY2024 Consolidated Appropriations Act funding is approved. These funds are awarded specifically for the installation of safety and security measures for the PHA properties.
