LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Some Arkansans may have experienced a small jolt to wake them up early Saturday morning.

According to United States Geological Survey officials, a small 2.2 earthquake was registered just 6 miles west and southwest of Center Ridge at 4:33 a.m.

This comes less than a week after two small earthquakes were registered by the USGS on Sunday.

The first of which was a 1.9 earthquake west of Damascus at 6:09 a.m. and a 2.1 earthquake just three miles from Greenbrier, both in Faulkner County.
