    St. Louis County police investigate fatal shooting in Ferguson

    ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – St. Louis County Police Department Bureau of Crimes Against Persons detectives report that they are investigating a homicide in Ferguson.

    They say a man was killed in the area of Airport Road and North Dade Avenue at around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 7.

    Police officers from the City of Berkeley Police Department responded to shooting in the area of Airport Road and Peurifoy Avenue where a man was in a vehicle with a life-threatening gunshot injury. The man was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.

    The preliminary investigation revealed that the shooting occurring in the area of Airport Road and N. Dade Avenue.

    The investigation is ongoing.
