FORECAST: Storm chances dwindle as heat builds

HEAT ADVISORY for Osage, Pawnee, Rogers, Tulsa, Creek, Okfuskee, Okmulgee, Wagoner, Muskogee, McIntosh, Sequoyah, Pittsburg, Haskell, Latimer & Le Flore counties Tuesday from Noon to 9 PM.

• A round of showers & storms is possible, mainly north of Tulsa overnight into Tuesday morning
• Hot and humid each afternoon for the rest of the week
  • Heat index will rise above 100° up to 110° in some places
• Mostly clear through midweek
• A round of t-showers is possible Thursday evening into Friday
• Limited storm chances stick around for the weekend
• No big heat relief for well over a week.
