Fundraiser held in honor of 16-year-old who passed in Collinsville crash

COLLINSVILLE, Okla. — Tyson Baker, the founder of Reach Clothing and Tyson's Shaved Ice, is holding a fundraiser to honor Gage Nunes.

Baker gave Gage his first job at the snowcone stand last year.

"He was a kind, genuine kid. He came to work everyday with a smile on his face," said Baker.

Now a week after Gage's passing, Baker is selling T-Shirts to honor him and raise money for his family.

"When I heard the news that he passed, the volleyball team had reach out to us and asked if we could do a fundraiser store and we said of course," said Baker.

Baker says 100 percent of the money will go to the family.

"I've known the family for the past couple of years. He worked for me, his sister worked for me, so anything I can do to help them," said Baker.

He's also making special T-shirts for the varsity football team, which Gage was on.

Baker says the football team is dedicating their season to Gage.

"We just created a flag for the football team and this year, the football team is dedicating this season to Fage, so they will run out with a flag at the first of every game that says play for Gage. Hopefully they can pull off another state championship in honor of Gage," said Baker.

Since opening the fundraiser on Wednesday, he's sold 500 T-shirts.

"We've raised about $4,200 for the family," said Baker.

Baker says the T-shirts sold so far will be ready before Collinsville Football's home scrimmage on Friday.

The fundraiser store will be open until Sept. 1. You can visit the store and buy a T-shirt by clicking here .
