SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — The median sales price for all homes sold in San Diego County went up again in March, according to a recent report by CoreLogic.

The monthly report of Southern California home sales said all recorded home sales in the region averaged a total of $753,000 in March, up about 8% from last year.

The data includes new and resale single-family homes and condominiums from six California counties: Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego and Ventura.

Data collected by CoreLogic showed that Orange County had the highest median sales price in the region with a median sales price of $1.15 million in March — a 17% increase from the same month last year.

Meanwhile, San Diego’s median sales price hit a total of $865,000. That’s nearly 10% more than last March when the median sales price in the county was $790,000.

All six counties in Southern California have seen a decrease in home sales, with San Diego reporting a 9% decline, data showed.

A total of 2,306 homes were sold in San Diego County as of March, according to CoreLogic’s data, compared to just about 2,540 in the first three months of last year.

Ventura County saw the largest decline in annual home sales by March, reporting a nearly 15% change. Data showed 513 homes were sold in the first three months of this year compared to over 600 last year.

Across the six counties, there was an 8% decrease in home sales volume between January and March, with 14,176 homes sold in March compared to 15,418 last year. CoreLogic said data for the report was collected from county records and not from home listing services.
