    Kentucky State Police searching for man after Carroll County officer-involved shooting

    WORTHVILLE, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — On Tuesday, Kentucky State Police announced the name of the man allegedly involved in an officer-involved shooting in Worthville.

    The man, 40-year-old Justin Osborn, is believed to have ties to the Worthville, Carroll County, and Glasgow, Barren County, areas.

    His whereabouts are currently unknown but police said the public should consider him armed and dangerous and should not attempt to approach him.

    Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to contact the Kentucky State Police.

    Police are investigating a shooting involving the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office.

    According to a news release, Kentucky State Police Post 5 in Campbellsburg has been asked to investigate an officer-involved shooting in Worthville that happened around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.

    The state police said there are no known injuries involving the shooting, and the investigation remains ongoing.
