The United States Women's Basketball Team clinched a berth in the gold medal game at the 2024 Paris Olympics with an 85-64 win against Australia on Friday (August 9), extending its Olympic winning streak to 60 consecutive games.

Breanna Stewart led all scorers with 16 points, while also recording six rebounds, five assists and one steal. A'Ja Wilson recorded 10 points, eight rebounds, four blocks, two steals and one assist.

The Americans outscored the Australians, 66-40, through the first three quarters and shot 50% from the field as a team, as well as 10 of 11 on free throw attempts. Team USA will face the winner of the other semifinal matchup between host nation France and Belgium.
