Watch Colin Cowherd make his prediction on what the NFL standings will be for the upcoming 2024 season, with the Thursday Night Football opener between the Chiefs and Ravens just 15 days out.

    AFC East

    1. Buffalo Bills

    2. Miami Dolphins

    3. New York Jets

    4. New England Patriots

Colin on the Jets finishing third in the division: “I know more about the Dolphins than I do about the Jets. I know they'll be widely productive on offense. Offenses carries over. If you don't make big wholesale changes a good offense one year is a good offense the next year. It's not the same for defense. Haasan Reddick is not in camp, Bryce Huff is gone, lotta noise.

    AFC Central

    1. Baltimore Ravens

    2. Cincinnati Bengals

    3. Pittsburgh Steelers

    4. Cleveland Browns

Colin on the Ravens winning the division: “I trust Lamar Jackson to be healthy by Week 17 even though he's had injuries more than Joe Burrow. If Joe Burrow is upright for the entire season, Cincinnati may win this division."

    AFC South

    1. Houston Texans

    2. Jacksonville Jaguars

    3. Indianapolis Colts

    4. Tennessee Titans

Colin on the Texans winning the division: “I really like the Texans. I like everything about what they're doing."

    AFC West

    1. Kansas City Chiefs

    2. Los Angeles Chargers

    3. Denver Broncos

    4. Las Vegas Raiders

Colin on the Chargers finishing second: “The Chargers worry me now because Denver is better and faster with Bo Nix than I thought. I'm a little worried about Justin Herbert."

    WILDCARDS: BENGALS, DOLPHINS, JAGUARS

    NFC East

    1. Philadelphia Eagles

    2. Washington Commanders

    3. Dallas Cowboys

    4. New York Giants

Colin on the Cowboys finishing third: "I think Dallas misses the playoffs, and I think the Commanders are the shock of the league."

    NFC North

    1. Green Bay Packers

    2. Detroit Lions

    3. Chicago Bears

    4. Minnesota Vikings

Colin on the Packers winning the division: "I'm going to flip the Lions and the Packers. When the Packers played the Lions the second time when Jordan Love had experience, they beat Detroit. I know the Lions have a better offensive line, but the depth of Green Bay's talent, the coaching, and the quarterback mobility of Green Bay is better. I'm going to go with a young and ascending team. In my opinion, the better head coach, the better quarterback talent, and a loaded and stacked roster at receiver and tight end talent. The Lions will still make the playoffs."

    NFC South

    1. Atlanta Falcons

    2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

    3. Carolina Panthers

    4. New Orleans Saints

Colin on the Falcons winning the division: “I think Atlanta is going to run away with it. I think Atlanta is going to potentially win 12-13 games. I really like Atlanta. I say that being lighter in the wallet my adult life from betting Falcons games."

    NFC West

    1. Los Angeles Rams

    2. San Francisco 49ers

    3. Seattle Seahawks

    4. Arizona Cardinals

Colin on the 49ers not winning the division: “I think they're leaning too much on McCaffrey. What's the situation with Brandon Aiyuk? Will Trent Williams be ready? I think the Jets can beat them in Week 1. I think they pull back a little. I think they have peaked physically. They'll be good but they won't be as special."
