    DENVER ( KDVR ) — Before minors over the age of 15 years old can get behind the wheel in Colorado, they have to take a permit test. The permit allows minors to drive with a licensed driver over age 21 in the vehicle.

    The questions range from road signs to safety rules. While some of the answers seem obvious, like asking if it’s bad to text or drink and drive, some questions are harder to answer.

    Can you answer these Colorado standardized test questions?

    Here are some of the practice questions from the Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles . It covers many but not all of the questions on the written test.

    If the minor passes this test, they have an instruction permit, which they need to have for 12 months before applying for a driver’s license. They also need to submit a driving log showing 50 hours of experience, according to the Colorado Driver Handbook .

    If they don’t pass, they can take the test as many times as needed but only twice in one day, according to the website.
