BOULDER, Colo. ( KDVR ) — The GOAT — greatest of all time — of sports fans has secured what is believed to be the first name, image and likeness brand deal for a fan.

Peggy Coppom, the University of Colorado Boulder mega fan is now the face of Blender’s Eyewear’s newest product. The sunglasses sleeve features 99-year-old Coppom and her signature gold pom poms.

The company, which launched a collaboration with Coach Prime last football season, was drawn to Coppom’s legacy of loyalty.

“She’s inspiring a lot of people, she’s inspiring a lot of players and she’s really setting a new benchmark of what it actually means to be a fan in sports,” said Chase Fisher, CEO of Blenders Eyewear.

Coppom has been attending CU Buffs football and basketball games for eight decades. Most notably, from the beginning to the end of the game.

She attended most of the games with her twin sister Betty. Betty passed in 2020 but to this day, Coppom is carrying out their legacy. The superfan plans to be at Folsom Field when the Buffs take on North Dakota State for their season opener on Aug. 29.
