    1 killed in shooting Friday night

    DENVER (KDVR) – One person died after a shooting in Denver’s Lincoln Park neighborhood Friday night, according to the Denver Police Department.

    The shooting happened in the area of 8th Avenue and Kalamath Street.

    The victim, an adult male, was taken to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

    The incident is being investigated as a homicide. Anyone with information was asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
