    Overland Park mayor hospitalized after car crash

    OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Overland Park Mayor Curt Skoog was injured after a car crash on Saturday afternoon.

    Mayor Skoog was involved in a single-vehicle car crash in Kansas City, Kansas. Nobody else was hurt involved in the crash.

    Overland Park police looking for man and dog after dog biting incident

    The cause of the crash is believed to be because of a medical event.

    He is doing well and currently recovering in the hospital. Skoog has a path forward working with his medical providers.

    He is expected to make a full recovery.
