    One killed, one fighting for life after shooting at Kansas City apartment complex

    KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One man is dead and another is in the hospital after a double shooting Monday night.

    The shooting happened around 9:45 Monday night near 83rd and Hillcrest.

    Couple identified as victims in Clay County house explosion

    When police arrived, they found one man shot in front of an apartment building. Officers also found another man shot inside one of the units.

    That man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
