    Jurassic Quest event coming to Overland Park Convention Center

    OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — Jurassic Quest, a popular interactive dinosaur event, will be coming to the Kansas City metro in November.

    The three-day event will be held at the Overland Park Convention Center and will include plenty of events and activities.

    There will be live dinosaur shows, the largest rideable dinosaurs in North America, science and art activities including a giant fossil dig and a fossil exhibit featuring T-Rex teeth, a triceratops horn, life-size dinosaur skull and more.

    The event will go from Nov. 1-Nov. 3 with the following hours:

    • Friday, Nov. 1: Noon-6pm
    • Saturday, Nov. 2: 9am-6pm
    • Sunday, Nov. 3: 9am-5pm

    General admission includes access to the dinosaur exhibits, arts and crafts activities, and live dinosaur shows. Guests can upgrade to kids ultimate tickets, recommended for ages 2-10.

    KC Animal Services working to find out where stray goats are coming from

    The ultimate tickets grant unlimited access to stationery and walking dinosaur rides, fossil dig, and dinosaur themed inflatable attractions.

    You can purchase tickets here. Advance purchase online is recommended but you can purchase tickets on-site. Children under two are free.
