One notable arrest was of a driver who police said was swerving his vehicle on Gibson Road, “nearly striking the curb and driving in the bike lane.” The vehicle was pulled over before it reached an intersection where dozens of people were crossing Gibson Road, according to WPD.

The driver, a Woodland resident, under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol content over two times the legal limit, according to WPD. He was arrested and booked at the Yolo County Jail and his vehicle was impounded.
