Snoop Dogg holiday performance at Placer County casino

(FOX40.COM) — Hip-hop icon and 16-time Grammy-nominated rapper Snoop Dogg is set to perform at Thunder Valley later this winter.

Thunder Valley officials announced Tuesday the legendary rapper will perform at The Venue on Dec. 27.

Snoop Dogg’s career has spanned over three decades and is known for hits such as “Drop it Like it’s Hot,” “Gin and Juice,” and “Who Am I (What’s My Name?)”

“We are thrilled to host Snoop Dogg at The Venue on December 27th,” Thunder Valley General Manager Dawn Clayton said in a press release. “We are confident this will be an unforgettable show, and we are proud to continually expand our entertainment footprint by adding big-name stars such as him to our incredible lineup at The Venue.”

Tickets for the concert go on to the public on Friday and can be bought online or at the Rewards Center Box Office. Thunder Rewards Members will have exclusive access to purchase tickets on-site at the Thunder Valley Rewards Center Box Office.

The rapper recently made headlines over the summer for appearing at several events at the Paris Games. Snoop Dogg was also one of the final torchbearers of the Olympic flame before the opening ceremony.

Snoop Dogg performed during the closing ceremony following the Olympic flag handover from Paris to Los Angeles, the site of the 2028 games.
