(FOX40.COM) — Another new direct flight is coming to the Sacramento International Airport (SMF).

Southwest Airlines will be offering nonstop flights to the Tucson International Airport in Arizona on weekends starting March 8, 2025.

New limited Chipotle chicken flavor comes to Sacramento, one of two cities in U.S.

The route is at least the 5th new direct service flying out of SMF announced this year.

Last month, Alaska Airlines announced it would be operating nonstop flights out of SMF from January to April to four new destinations, including Tuscon.

The other new seasonal routes offered by Alaska Airlines will connect Sacramento to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico; San Jose del Cabo, Mexico; and Orlando, Florida.

Southwest will also begin offering nonstop flights to Kansas City International Airport four days a week beginning Oct. 6.
