Fire in Roseville forces evacuation orders for several homes

(FOX40.COM) — Several homes in West Roseville were forced to be evacuated after a fire broke out, according to the Placer County Sheriff’s Office.

Around 1:45 p.m. on Saturday, deputies said they responded to a fire on Royal Lily Avenue near the Walerga and Baseline area. Deputies evacuated seven homes in the immediate area and issued an evacuation warning for a half mile radius.

The evacuation warnings and orders were lifted around 2 p.m. and deputies said they will continue to monitor the area.
