    Johnson County Sheriff: Motorcycle driver, passenger die after collision with pickup

    JOHNSON COUNTY, Ind. — The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office has launched a fatal crash investigation in the area of State Road 135 and State Road 44.

    According to a press release, deputies were made aware of the crash around 7:32 p.m. that caused two fatalities. JCSO said preliminary information indicates the crash involved a Harley Davidson motorcycle and a Ford F450 truck.

    Both the driver and the passenger on the Harley were pronounced dead on scene.

    The driver of the pickup told police he was attempting to turn south onto State Road 135 when the Harley disregarded the red light and struck the driver’s side of the pickup.

    Police said witness also gave identical statements to what occurred.

    The Trafalgar Police Department, Bargersville Fire Department, Trafalgar Fire Department and the Johnson County Coroner’s Office assisted at the scene.
