    IMPD seeking assistance in locating missing 68-year-old woman

    INDIANAPOLIS — Officials with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department are asking for the public’s help in locating a 68-year-old woman who was last seen on the near northwest side of Indianapolis.

    According to a news release from IMPD, 68-year-old Cynthia Evans was last seen in the area of 1400 Udell St. at around 9 a.m. on Thursday.

    Evans is described as being around 5’2″, weighing around 160 pounds and having black/gray hair as well as brown eyes. IMPD said that Evans was last seen wearing a purple shirt, blue pants and black shoes. Evans was not wearing her glasses.

    Individuals are asked to call 911 immediately if she is located. Individuals can also contact the department’s missing persons unit at (317) 327-6160 or the Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at (317) 262-8477 if they have any information on her whereabouts.
