67-year-old man shot in Greensboro; in critical, life-threatening condition

GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) — The Guilford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man was shot on Tuesday afternoon.

At around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, deputies came to the scene of a reported shooting on Watlington Road and found a 67-year-old man who had been shot.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and is currently considered to be in critical condition.

No arrests have been made in connection to the shooting at this time. However, investigators say the shooting was an isolated incident and there is no active threat to the community.
