BURLINGTON, N.C. (WGHP) — One person was stabbed out of Holly Hill Mall on Monday afternoon, the Burlington Police Department reported.

According to officials, just before 11:30 a.m. they responded to a report of a person being “cut” in an alleyway between Holly Hill Mall and Publix.

Police say there is no threat to the public and the victim is expected to make a full recovery.

BPD is working to develop suspect information.

“The victim was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. The incident did not cause the closure of any businesses in the area. This was an isolated incident,” police say.
