    Armed parent threatened to shoot other parents’ cars during morning drop-off in North Carolina, documents show

    CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – A parent threatened to shoot other parents’ cars during a morning drop-off altercation that occurred this week at a north Charlotte elementary school, according to new court documents.

    The docs stated that around 7:54 a.m. Wednesday morning during the morning drop-off period at north Charlotte’s Oakdale Elementary School, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police located a .45 caliber gun in the car of Shanique Robinson after she displayed the gun and threatened to shoot other parents’ vehicles following a dispute.

    The circumstances surrounding the initial dispute have not yet been released. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools confirmed on Wednesday that the school did go into a brief lockdown as a precautionary measure.

    She is being held on a $10,000 secured bond and is charged with having a gun on educational property.

    The district dealt with several issues the first week of school in addition to this one, including HVAC issues and an impaired bus driver .
