Sincere Foundation Grant Recipients
Grants from Sincere Foundation support programs that align with its three key funding priorities: food security, housing stability, and safe spaces. Boston-based technology company Sincere Corporation created Sincere Foundation in 2023. The Foundation is made possible by the support of the Company’s family of brands: Punchbowl®, Timehop®, and Memento®.
“Sincere Foundation supports organizations that address basic needs in Massachusetts communities,” said Rebecca Reiner, Executive Director, Sincere Foundation. “Many of the grant recipients in this funding cycle seek new and creative ways to solve systemic challenges, and we are proud to contribute to this work.”
Among the grantees in Sincere Foundation’s latest round of funding is Boston nonprofit One Family, which received $15,000 — their second grant from Sincere Foundation. The grant will help One Family meet its mission to break down barriers to higher education and family-sustaining career paths, so that families who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness can achieve financial independence and afford safe housing. Economic mobility programs available to Massachusetts parents often exist in silos: education, career, finances, or housing. One Family bridges these gaps, and provides coaching at the intersection of these topics in order to help parents build wealth and stability for future generations.
“At Sincere, we build technology that brings you closer and helps show you care to the people in your life who matter the most,” said Matt Douglas, Founder & CEO, Sincere Corporation. “We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to celebrate, recognize milestones, and honor memories. That’s only possible when people have their basic needs met. We’re excited to support this exceptional group of organizations and their work with our Foundation.”
The following organizations recently received a grant from Sincere Foundation:
Food Security
Boston Area Gleaners (Acton)
Digger Foods (Sharon)
Interfaith Social Services (Quincy)
Housing Stability
One Family (Boston)
FamilyAid Boston (Boston)
Household Goods (Acton)
MetroWest Mediation Services (Natick)
Safe Spaces
Boys & Girls Clubs of Dorchester (Dorchester)
Catie’s Closet (Springfield)
OUT MetroWest (Framingham)
Sincere Foundation considers grants from organizations that are a registered 501(c)3 within the USA, have a total operating budget of $25 million or less, provide services within Massachusetts, and align with the Foundation’s funding priorities. Grant proposals for up to $25,000 must be submitted by September 20, 2024 for review by December 1, 2024.
