    Dr. O.D. Butler Field Day set

    The Dr. O.D. Butler Forage Field Day will take place on Friday, May 17.

    The field day will feature several trials and demonstration plots relating to forage production. Those include a Pre-emergent herbicide trial, a Urea Nitrogen rate Trial, and a trial regarding liming material differences and their effectiveness.

    Producers will also hear from various vendors throughout different sectors of agriculture. In the afternoon, there will be discussions regarding TDA Laws and Regulations, the Right to Farm Act, as well as a market update.

    Pesticide applicators will receive 3 CEU’s, 2 General and 1 in Laws and Regulations towards the renewal of their applicators license.

    Registration will kick off at 8 a.m. at the Camp Cooley Division of Circle X Land & Cattle Company located at 4297 Camp Cooley Ranch Rd, Franklin, TX.
