Newton Police Department to Celebrate National Night Out with Free Activities, Entertainment and Food
NEWTON, NJ – The community is invited to join the Newton Police Department for the annual National Night Out on Tuesday, August 6 from 5 until 8 p.m. Residents are invited to Memory Park for the event where there will be live music by Black Tie Groove, free hot dogs, ice cream and popcorn.CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE TAPINTO.NET NEWSLETTER Police, Fire and EMS vehicles will be on display and there will be bicycle and car seat safety demonstrations. 6-month-old dies after found inside parked car in New Jersey: Police
An infant girl died after after she was found inside a parked car in New Jersey, law enforcement said, during one of the hottest days of the summer. Officers from East Hanover were called to a parking lot near South Ridgedale Avenue and Route 10 around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday after a child was inside a parked car, the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said.
