Downtown Pittsburgh restaurant ordered to close in recent health department report
Caravan on Smithfield Street in Downtown Pittsburgh was ordered to close after a recent inspection. A report from the Allegheny County Health Department on July 17 cites multiple violations found in the restaurant. This is the second time this year that Caravan has been ordered to close. Route 2075 Leechburg Road Daylight Lane Restrictions Begin Monday in Plum
PennDOT District 11 is announcing utility work on Leechburg Road (Route 2075) in Plum Borough, Allegheny County will begin Monday, July 22 weather permitting. Single-lane alternating traffic will occur weekdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. through late mid-August on Leechburg Road between Elicker Road and Tilio Drive for gas line replacement work.
Route 88 Library Road Slide Repair Begins Monday in Castle Shannon
PennDOT District 11 is announcing slide repair work on Route 88 (Library Road) in Castle Shannon Borough, Allegheny County will begin Monday, July 22 weather permitting. Slide repair and shoulder reconstruction work will occur on Library Road between Havelock Street and Killarney Drive through early August. To allow the work to occur, the southbound lane on Library Road will close to traffic at Killarney Drive. Southbound traffic will be shifted into the center turning lane. A single-lane of traffic will be maintained in each direction during this work.

I-376 Fort Pitt Bridge Ramp Inspection Tuesday in Pittsburgh
PennDOT District 11 is announcing inspection work on I-376 (Fort Pitt Bridge) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County will occur Tuesday, July 23 weather permitting. Bridge inspection activities requiring a single-lane restriction on the Fort Pitt Bridge upper deck (inbound) ramp to the Boulevard of the Allies/Liberty Avenue/PPG Arena (Exit 70A) will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday. The rest of the bridge and the ramp being inspected will remain open while work occurs.
