Fremont has a full list of events - concerts and movies - for July at amphitheater

The Fremont Community Amphitheater, 209 S. Arch St., will be the setting for many concert and events in July.

The events are free to the public and will be held rain or shine. Pack your chairs or blankets.

On Tuesday, Paramount Movie Nights begin with “Independence Day" starting at 9 p.m.

On Saturday, after the parade and car show, Terry Davidson and The Gears will entertain the crowd from 8-11 p.m. Fireworks are set to begin around 10 p.m.

Sunday at 7 p.m. the Community Concert Series begins with a performance by Sax Machine.

The next session of Historical Ponderings: A Look Through the Rearview Window is July 11 from 6-7:30 p.m. Larry Michaels will talk about Fremont.

July 13 from 5-8 p.m., Purveyors of Roots/Rock/Zydeco will perform. Andrew Dean will perform July at 14 at 7 p.m.

On July 16, the second Paramount Movie Nights will feature “The Sandlot” at 9 p.m.

July 18 from 5-8 p.m., Vern Treado returns for a jam session. Shawn Perry + Vice City will take the stage July 20 from 5-8 p.m.

Dana Dorsey to perform July 21

Dana Dorsey and The Blue Notes will perform July 21 at 7 p.m.

Mike Gilbert will present Historical Ponderings: A Look Through the Rearview Window on July 25 from 6-7:30 p.m., focusing on the Battle of Croghan and Fort Stephenson.

On the stage July 27 from 5-8 p.m. will be Moon Echo Garden and The Super Babes.

The last event for July is The Community Concert Series July 28 at 7 p.m. featuring Ridin’ Shotgun.
