Family disturbance leads to double stabbing in Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – An investigation is underway following a double stabbing in Fresno, according to the Fresno Police Department.

Officers say they responded to a home in the 3300 block of Montecito Avenue in Fresno on Tuesday around 9 p.m.

Upon arrival, police say they found two men who received stab wounds on their upper bodies. One of them was taken to the hospital and the extent of his injuries is unknown; the other declined medical treatment at the scene.

Investigators say it is believed this was the result of a family disturbance among family members who came to visit relatives at the home.

This is an ongoing investigation and more information will be provided as it becomes available.
